Market information for each of the designated counties will include maps and data lists with the following information:
  • Location of all existing licensed long term care facilities
  • Location of all existing licensed acute care hospitals
  • 2014 occupancy data for all licensed long term care facilities
  • 2014 occupancy data for all licensed long term care facilities by payer source
  • Estimated density of population for all persons 65 years and older ( Medicare population), 2008-2012
  • Estimated median income for all persons, 2008-2012
  • Estimated population of all persons with health insurance, 2008-2012
  • Identification of underserved areas for long term care services
 

Regulatory Monitoring

 

DKA's consultative services include regulatory monitoring of State agencies responsible for the licensing, certification and administrative authority of health care facilities.  DKA will monitor the following entities to insure their client's awareness of developing opportunities and rule modifications:                         

  • Health Care Administration Board

  • State Health Planning Board

  • New Jersey Health Care Financing Authority

Long Term Planning

DKA is New Jersey's most recognized specialist in assisting clients with the development, preparation, submission and monitoring of certificate of need applications.  DKA has successfully completed the most competitive applications that include approval of specialty services, hospital replacements, transfers of ownership and hospital closures.

 DKA works well with the hospital's senior management, lobbyist, and public relations firm to insure a coordinated team effort to identify goals and develop an implementation plan to achieve the identified goals.
